Nightrain

A live music venue which opened in May 2019 and has developed a reputation for top-quality nights and live music events. Hosting a wide range of quality drinks, fantastic staff, and a friendly environment, Nightrain delivers a great night out for live music and late-night entertainment. Not only do we host International Touring Artists, we provide a platform for Grassroots performers as well as hosting the very best tribute bands. Check out our Events page to book your next show!

Our Resident DJ’s Hellfire & Bacon take centre stage every Friday and Saturday night playing the Ultimate Rock/Alternative Anthems of past and present into the early hours!

Nightrain is FREE ENTRY except for ticketed events

Fri: 7pm – 3am
Sat: 7pm – 3am (Bradford City FC Home games Open from 12pm)

Please note that special opening hours may exist for booked live events during the week.

Nearby Pay & Display parking is available approximately 2 minutes walk away on:

  • Dale St – BD1 4HT
  • Cheapside – BD1 4HP

Alternatively parking is available at The Broadway Car Park 5 Minutes Walk – BD1 1JR.  Please Note that the Broadway car park closes at 1 am.

Via Train:

  • Bradford Forster Square      5 minutes walk
  • Bradford Interchange           6 minutes walk

Via Bus:

  • Bradford Interchange           6 minutes walk

Via Taxi:

Accessibility

Nightrain is committed to being a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space and welcomes people with disabilities to the venue.

The main floor and bar area is on a level surface and wheelchair accessible directly from the main entrance via double doors where staff will be on hand to help if required.

We can accommodate wheelchair users due to being all on one level with no steps and a disabled toilet at the rear end of our venue which is accessible via a RADAR key.

Please note as we aren’t a purpose-built venue, we cannot accommodate a disabled viewing platform.

We also do not allow any wheelchairs or seating towards the front of the venue or near the barrier for the safety of yourselves and others.

Please be aware before purchasing tickets that viewing may be restricted.

Seating

We are a general admission venue however limited seating is available on a first come first serve basis for none sold out events only.

If an event sells out no seating will be available. 

No seating can be reserved or moved. 

No sorry you cannot bring your own chair.

Carers Ticket

We can offer a Personal Assistant ticket to any customer who may not be able to attend a show without the support of a PA and has already purchased their own valid ticket.

Carers tickets are limited and are available on a first come first serve basis.

If you require a Personal Assistant ticket, please email info@nightrain.co.uk and provide one of the following for a carers ticket to be considered:

• PIP Letter
• DLA Letter
• A Blue Badge
• Access card

One of the above is to accompany proof of a valid ticket for the show in question.

Documentation should be dated within 3 years.

If your request is approved, on the day of the event the individual requiring a carer must present Photo ID to our staff on entry that matches the approved carers ticket.

 

We welcome assistance dogs into the venue and will happily provide a bowl of water if needed. However, not all events are suitable so please contact us beforehand. We may be able to offer a location where the dog could stay during the gig, but please get in touch to discuss this further.

Please note that strobe lighting is regularly used at Nightrain.

Any medication used to manage a medical condition is allowed in the venue. Please notify our security team or bar staff on arrival.

Additional Information

Nightrain strongly follow the challenge 25 policy that encourages anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID.

We accept:

  • Full Driving Licence
  • Provisional Driving Licence
  • Passport
  • PASS Proof Of Age Card That Bear the ‘PASS’ Hologram

Nightrain is subject to licencing restrictions and the vast majority of our events are 14+ with an accompanying adult (unless stated).

Please Note:

If you are under the age of 18 and are joining us for an event accompanied by an adult, proof of age is required on entry to show you are atleast 14 years old.

Compact cameras and camera phones are allowed.

No cameras allowed with interchangeable lenses” or “no professional cameras with lenses longer than 4 inches unless approved by the band or venue management.

Smoking, including vaping is banned within the Nightrain venue.

A designated smoking area is available in front of the main entrance although we ask you to respect our neighbouring properties.

Anybody leaving the venue during an event for a smoking break will be requested to show their wristband on re-entry to Nightrain.

We work closely with The Midland Hotel located just a short 3 Minutes walk away, a perfect overnight stay for your visit to Nightrain.

A brilliant venue to see live bands. The staff are very friendly. There is a carpark called Broadway not far from the venue, which is safe and secure. Very reasonable price.

Good city centre venue good parking nearby at the Broadway car park.steel column blocks some of the stage especially if you're stood further back. Overall a decent place.
