CROOKED REVIVAL + VOLTSTORM + THE FORSAKEN

CROOKED REVIVAL
“Crooked Revival play what they describe as “Brutal Blues” and as such they are at the much rockier end of the blues spectrum; they have a singer with a voice both soulful and powerful (often within the space of the same song) and big choruses underpinned by massive riffs and luscious keys. For an opening band they have a strong enough sound and delivery to pull a sizeable crowd away from the bar and the merch stand, by doing what every opener should do, and playing like they’re the headliner. By the close of their set more and more have joined the burgeoning crowd to witness Crooked Revival deliver an emphatic and impressive start to the day. ”
VOLTSTORM
Formed in 2019, British band VOLTSTORM blends attitude, energy, and political awareness, taking listeners on a journey to a dystopian future that mirrors our own. Their music features strong riffs, powerful drumming, catchy vocals, and a mix of electronic and classical influences, drawing comparisons to bands like Helloween, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Judas Priest. In March 2022, VOLTSTORM self-released their debut album and completed a successful UK headline tour. Since then, they've been working with producer Alessio Garavello from Rogue Studios on their next album, "Break The Silence," which showcases their evolution as artists and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of rock music. The album promises to resonate deeply with both existing fans and newcomers. With the addition of guitarist Stef Nurra in late 2022 and Ben Turner in early 2024, VOLTSTORM has energized their lineup and continued to develop their unique voice in London’s underground scene. Their new material features acrobatic guitars, thunderous drum grooves, soaring vocals, and catchy choruses, blending modern elements with traditional ingredients. After successfully debuting internationally at the Pannonian Rock Festival in Croatia in August 2023 alongside pillars of the scene like Tarja Turunen, Rhapsody of Fire, and Destruction, VOLTSTORM is now focused on the UK scene, with festival appearances confirmed for 2025 at the Hard Rock Hell Festival alongside Ronnie Romero, Kee Marcello and Uli Jon Roth and more dates yet to be announced in the coming months As VOLTSTORM solidifies their presence in the UK music industry, more stakeholders are taking notice, setting the stage for the band’s inevitable explosion onto the world stage, as predicted by many industry insiders.
THE FORSAKEN
Founded in the Cambridgeshire area by Bassist and frontman Dan Hunsdon, THE FORSAKEN is a hard rock foursome with a relatable and emotional story to tell. Their sound is BIG, edgy and raw which is exactly what you would expect from influences such as Atreyu, Beartooth, Black Stone Cherry and Alter Bridge. The band is made up of Dan Hunsdon (bassist and frontman), Adam Cheverton (drums), Stuart Isteed (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Dan’s son, Jack Hunsdon (Rhythm Guitar and backing vocals). The band is passionate about promoting recovery and mental health awareness. This is because frontman Dan Hunsdon spent the majority of his life in active addiction and has recently undergone a rehabilitation programme which has seen him successfully change his life and sponsor others in the same position. Their songs lyrics are heavily themed around Dan’s journey of recovery which gives listeners an insight into his life challenges. Already gaining traction in their hometown of Cambridge, from the energetic and humorous live shows, THE FORSAKEN have recently secured support slots with the likes of Loz Campbell and have seen them secure several local festivals. THE FORSAKEN release their first single at the end of 2023/ early 2024 which was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jake Day (Brave Liason) at North Acre Recording Studios. With an exciting 2024 planned, THE FORSAKEN are looking to build upon their already growing fan base by recording more material and touring the length of the country. Don’t miss out on the chance to see one of the most exciting up and coming hard rock / metal bands in the UK. Where will they be seeing you?
