JIZZY PEARLS LOVE/HATE - 'Blackout In The Redroom Tour'

Jizzy Pearl's Love/Hate

Love/Hate burst onto the music scene in 1990 with their debut Sony release Blackout In The Red Room which garnered 'Best album of the Year' from Both Kerrang Magazine and Metal Hammer. The band followed up with a two year tour, sharing the arena stage with AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio & Skid Row.

Their second record, Wasted In America, also received critical acclaim in Europe and America, breaking the Top 40 on the UK charts, whilst their third album Let’s Rumble was featured in the movie 'Airheads' and the single 'Spinning Wheel' received heavy rotation on metal radio.

In the intervening years Love/Hate singer Jizzy Pearl has kept the Love/Hate name and music alive performing in platinum rock bands L.A. Guns and RATT.

New Generation Superstars

New Generation Superstars continue to fly the flag for British Rock, with their No frills, No Fuss approach. Originally described as "too punk for the rock crowd, and too rock for the punk crowd", NGS have remained non compromising in playing  their distinctive high octane rock, with the hooks and riffs that forge their unmistakable sound; this coupled with a relentless tour schedule over the years has built their ever faithful following worldwide,  "The B*stard Division".

Embracing the DIY ethic, NGS created their own label Underdog Records LTD through  which all their critically acclaimed albums have been released. The biography of NGS could read as "War and Peace", with the band experiencing dizzy heights and turbulent lows, but here are the important parts...

“Crash Course in Rock N Roll ” (2007) recorded in 4 days with Grammy nominated Alan Smyth (Pulp/ Arctic Monkeys), saw copies sold worldwide, capturing the raw, energetic sound of the band. High profile shows and tours followed, with the band touring incessantly in 2007 and 2008.

The aptly named "Raising the stakes" (2009), saw the band doing exactly that! Following the celebration of the album's release,  features and reviews appeared in wide circulating rock press (Kerrang!, Big Cheese, Classic Rock) and airplays on Bruce Dickinson’s (Iron Maiden) rock radio show. High profile shows in the UK, New York, Finland and Germany followed, with NGS building even further on their initial success.

After a substantial line up change,  NGS worked hard recording "Rock N Roll or Die" (2013), touring in Spain, Italy, Germany and Finland as well as Festivals and UK headline shows. The pace was relentless, and so were the fans appetite for the music. The B*stard Division was born out of homage to the popular song from the album "Rock N Roll B*stards", which documented in song the bands passion and commitment to the music and fans.

"King of the World" (2016) is NGS fourth studio album, and a testament to their strength and longevity, the sound has evolved but is unmistakably  NGS. The band remain busy, and are already being booked for tours and festivals for 2021-22.

Serving their time on the road, NGS have played many headline shows, also being the support band of choice for acts such as Duff McKagan’s Loaded, The Wildhearts, The 69 Eyes, Supersuckers, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Hardcore Superstar, LA Guns, Love/Hate, Ricky Warwick, Michael Monroe, Vain, The New Roses and many more talented musicians; as well as playing many notable festivals in the UK and Europe.

NGS continue to be one of the hardest working bands in rock, and will continue to rock hard, or die trying
