Viva Morrissey
Formed in 2007, and based in Manchester, home of The Smiths, the 6-piece Viva Morrissey are highly regarded for the accuracy and authenticity of their presentation. Focussing on present-day Morrissey live shows, the Viva Morrissey presentation is markedly different to tributes to The Smiths.
After a lengthy hiatus, the band returned to the live circuit in late 2022, and have been playing to hugely enthusiastic audiences throughout 2023.
2024 sees the 20th anniversary of the release of Morrissey’s most successful album ‘You Are The Quarry’, and to mark the occasion Viva Morrissey will be playing the full album in its original running order, followed by a selection of the best loved songs of The Smiths and Morrissey.
